Australia's T20 squad against South Africa

Surprisingly fast bowler Mitchell Johnson has been dropped from Australia's T20 squad to South Africa. David Hussey is omitted from the ODI squad. Quickies Cummins and Pattinson are selected for both T20 and ODI teams. Regarding the omission of Johnson the chairman of selectors Hilditch said this was a result of Johnson's inconsistent performances in the shortest version of cricket. But at the same time he is picked for the ODI squad.
Johnson makes way for Doug Bollinger who has been impressive in T20 format. He has produces spell bound performances for Australia and also for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL cricket. After 2008/09 this would be Australia's first tour to South Africa for a bilateral series.

This series will begin with two T20 matches followed by 3 ODI cricket series. The tour will conclude with couple of test matches.
