India Vs West Indies 3rd Test Match Preview

The test series between India and West Indies now nears its end as we all move towards Mumbai now for the 3rd and the final test match. India has already won the first two matches and taken an unbeaten lead as well as the series. The visitors will play for pride and a win here would be a huge confidence booster for them.

Indian squad for the third test has just one change where Yuvraj Singh is replaced by Rohit Sharma. Yuvraj Singh got starts but he couldn't capitalise to go on and score big. His three innings fetched 23, 18 and 25 runs. Rohit Sharma struck a brilliant form in the Ranji Trophy where he scored two tons in Mumbai's first two matches  thus compelling Indian selectors to chose him for the 3rd test match.

Yuvraj Singh has failed most of the times to cement his place in the Indian test squad. Still he has enough time to recover and retain his form to make a firm place in the squad. Meanwhile rest of the Indian squad remained unchanged.

On the other hand now every match Sachin plays, the eyes are set on his 100th international century. Who knows maybe it can come in front of his home crowd of Mumbai in the 3rd test. Or maybe the spectators will have to wait till India visits down under Australia in December. By the way Sachin has played down the hype saying it is just a number and doesn't want to concentrate much on that record. He wishes to play with a relaxed mind set so that he can enjoy the game rather than concentrating on a record.
