The delayed fightback by the Srilankan team in 1st finals went in vain as Australia clinched a narrow margin win and now lead 'best of three finals' 1-0. Srilanka is itching to make things even stevens and clinch a win here at Adelaide Oval.
David Warner was the hero the other day when he scored a big century which was also 6th highest individual ODI score by any Australian. Although it didn't look a typical hard hitting Warner knock, but it was good enough for the team to take a 1-0 lead in the finals. But he may not be fit for today's match and he can make way for Peter Forrest. Australian batting lineup looks good with Clarke, Christian and Hussey brothers. Bowling needs to be consistent and they need to avoid giving away too many runs in death overs.
Srilanka will enjoy favourable conditions at Adelaide Oval. Pitch would get drier and drier as day progresses. Pitch will support batsmen and to a large extent it will support spinners. So Srilanka can make the most out of it. Srilanka needs a good total on the board to put pressure on Australia. If they bat second, they need to make sure they keep the required run rate under check.
