India vs South Africa 2013 Live Streaming on Ten Cricket in India

India vs South Africa

While India wins another ODI series which happens to be sixth on the trot, South Africa losses an ODI series at home for the first time against Pakistan. Well this doesn't open too many doors of opportunity for India on a land where they haven't been too successful in bilateral series but it certainly gives them some confidence that they can repeat the feat that was recently achieved by Pakistan. India vs South Africa 2013 series kicks off on 5th December with an ODI series followed by a short test series. Ten Cricket and Ten Sports will provide live TV telecast and live streaming online in India.

India has another tight schedule in 2014 and this happens to be a litmus test at the end of a successful 2013 year in Indian cricket. It appears to be a bigger test time because expectations with this Indian team are high and last two 'major' tours abroad were pure failures for India. They lost 0-4 to England and Australia. Good thing would be India's 2011 tour to South Africa where they managed to win T20 match, won one out of three ODIs and drew the test series 1-1.

This would also be India's first major abroad tour in absence of the trio Dravid, Laxman and Tendulkar. So the best time to test the bench strenght which would also become future strenght of the team. It would certainly not be easy for the inform batsmen Dhawan, Dhoni, Kohli or Sharma to face quickies like Steyn on bouncy quick tracks of South Africa. These batsmen alongwith Pujara are in exceptionaly good form since last year and they also poise a challenge to the strong South African team.

The schedule is as follows:
Dec 5th 2013 - 1st ODI
Dec 8th 2013 - 2nd ODI
Dec 11th 2013 - 3rd ODI

Dec 18th to 22nd 2013 - 1st Test
Dec 26th to 30th 2013 - 2nd Test

Let us see how the world champions can capitalise on the opportunities served by the best test team. South Africa are undoubtedly the best test team in the current cricketing world. But they are pretty inconsistent in the shorter versions of the game. India being the best ODI team would provide a good competition to South Africa back home. A win in ODI series can boost Indian confidence and push South Africa on a back foot. This could be one of the best foreign tours of India if they can come back with some great wins. Looking at the good form of the batsmen and bowling friendly conditions, it seems this strong young Indian team can create wonders out there.

As the cricket fans enjoy a cricket series between two strong teams, they can also enjoy the Ashes series which would be live telecasted on Star Sports channels in India and live streamed online on Star Sports website.
